Kinetic Perfumes is a niche brand from Barcelona whose Extraits de Parfum intentionally play with contrasts. Fruity top notes meet leather, bright citrus accords meet oud, creamy sweetness meets dry wood. The key is rarely a single note, but rather the evolution: many of the brand's compositions smell significantly different after two hours than they do in the first moment.

Oud, leather, and resin – the dark side of Kinetic
Sillage is the brand's most famous fragrance. Oud, violet, and saffron open, with frankincense, jasmine, and raspberry forming the heart, and suede, benzoin, amber, and vanilla in the base. An intense extrait that takes its name seriously.
Néo Sillage picks up on the same idea and turns it in a fruity direction. Mango, passion fruit, and bergamot are balanced against a base of Akigalawood, leather, cedar, tonka bean, and amber. Fruity and dark all at once – those familiar with Sillage will find its brighter sister here.
Mosaic is the most complex composition in the line. Rhubarb, saffron, bitter orange, and kumquat meet frankincense, cumin, and caramel, before oud, suede, turmeric, and ginger define the base.
Citrus and freshness
Tulua begins with Calabrian bergamot, Amalfi lemon, and green mandarin, leading into a creamy heart of milk ice cream, magnolia, and jasmine. Vetiver, amber, and cedar keep the sweetness in balance.
Verdigris is the freshest scent from the brand: orange, lemon, and lime open, followed by freesia, cyclamen, and coriander, with amber, oakmoss, and musk providing the support.
Unreal contrasts Amalfi lemon and black pepper with a heart of leather, iris, and rum – striking and dry rather than sparkling.
Floral and fruity compositions
Nel combines lychee, apple, and rhubarb with rose, Grasse jasmine, and blackberry. Oakmoss, vanilla, and amber give the composition structure.
Aura opens with grapefruit, orange, and pineapple before raspberry, passion fruit, and jasmine take over. Caramel, oakmoss, and amber bring the fragrance to a warm close.
L'Una leads from saffron and citrus through rose, lychee, and leather to sandalwood, vanilla, and vetiver – the most elegant composition in the line.
Wood, incense, and calm
Kayu begins with rosemary and Italian mandarin, then becomes very calm: guaiac wood, Virginia cedar, and Omani frankincense, underpinned by Thai and Laotian oud, tonka bean, and powdery notes.
Insomnia takes a different path. Leather and tobacco meet lemon and juniper berries; in the heart, patchouli, cypriol, and marine notes provide an aquatic-leathery effect.
