Viage – ten metropolises as perfume

Viage translates cities into fragrances. Each extrait de parfum from the brand bears the name of a metropolis and attempts to capture its atmosphere in a composition – from the salty sea air of Istanbul to the spicy density of Dubai. Ten compositions are available at MYONA.

The brand does not work with clichés, but rather with moods: one fragrance may be bright and mineral, another dark and resinous, without the city itself being depicted literally.

Fresh and Mediterranean compositions

Bustling Barcelona is the freshest fragrance in the line. Bergamot, grapefruit, and Sicilian orange open the scent, followed by Tunisian neroli, ginger, and aquatic notes, with ambroxan, guaiac wood, and incense providing depth.

Vibrant Venice combines pineapple, grapefruit, and mandarin with jasmine, cedar, and patchouli over oakmoss.

Magnetic Monaco begins with grapefruit and spices, developing through carnation and lily of the valley into a warmer base of ambroxan, amber, and vanilla.

Warm, spicy, and resinous fragrances

Dazzling Dubai places Damask rose, grapefruit, and desert date at the beginning, followed by honeysuckle and vanilla over amber, resins, and musk.

Hypnotic Honolulu opens citrusy and mineral before saffron and immortelle take over. Suede, oud, osmanthus, and bourbon vanilla form an unusually dark base for such a bright opening.

Tranquil Tokyo blends mango, ginger, and red berries with jasmine and coumarin over oud, nagarmotha, and amber.

Ageless Alexandria is the creamiest and spiciest composition: fig, black tea, and cardamom, layered over iris, bourbon vetiver, and rose, and finally bourbon vanilla, sandalwood, and tonka bean.

Floral and sweet metropolises

Shimmering Shanghai centers on lychee and rose, complemented by peony, jasmine, and vanilla over cashmeran, heliotrope, and incense.

Beaming Buenos Aires works with Damask rose and hibiscus over cinnamon and mint, carried by leather, vanilla, and ambrette.

Idyllic Istanbul begins unusually: salt and ozonic notes meet Turkish rose and praline, set over amber, patchouli, and vanilla.
