The Fragrance – The Crystal Collection

The Fragrance is a niche brand from Istanbul. Their Crystal Collection assigns a gemstone to each fragrance – from dark onyx to warm topaz – and translates its character into a composition. Ten Extrait de Parfum scents are available at MYONA.

The range is vast: it spans from clear citrus compositions and dark, leathery oud scents to distinctly gourmand accords featuring honey, caramel, and chocolate.

Dark, leathery, and woody

Onyx Wonder opens with grapefruit and lemon before leather, saffron, and cumin define the heart. Patchouli, vetiver, cedarwood, and oud form a dry, dark base.

Emerald Shine begins with citrus notes, leads through cardamom, juniper, saffron, and frankincense, and finishes in leather, vetiver, oud, guaiac wood, and cypriol – devoid of sweetness and therefore exceptionally clear.

Aquamarine Touch places bergamot and blackcurrant at the forefront, followed by oud, saffron, and pink pepper over amber, leather, and musk.

Sapphire Passion combines saffron, cinnamon, and cardamom with tobacco, iris, and leather notes before sandalwood, tonka bean, and vanilla take over.

Sweet and gourmand compositions

Ruby Love is the sweetest fragrance in the line: honey, caramel, and milk meet tuberose, jasmine, and heliotrope, while the base is composed of vanilla, tonka bean, and amber.

Opal Secret works with chocolate and praline over lily of the valley, underpinned by tonka bean, vanilla, and sandalwood.

Topaz Glamour relies on raspberry and exotic fruits over woody notes, rounded off by caramel, amber, and moss.

Floral and fresh stones

Amethyst Soul blends passion fruit and peach with tuberose, jasmine, and rose over sandalwood, vanilla, and amber.

Pearl Harmony is more restrained: rose, saffron, and spices over sandalwood and cypriol, with cashmere wood, amber, and musk beneath.

Tiger Eye Power is the brightest scent in the collection. Bergamot, grapefruit, mandarin, and lemon open the fragrance, followed by ginger, saffron, iris, and rose, with musk, moss, and patchouli providing the foundation.
