Pure Oudiction begins green, spicy, and distinctly individual. Cardamom meets a dry hemp accord, sage, and mate. This creates an herbal effect that clearly distinguishes it from classic sweet oud compositions.

Hay and licorice introduce a warm and slightly sweet side to the further development of the fragrance. Fir balsam reinforces the green impression, while suede provides a soft, dry texture.

Oud, patchouli, and smoky vetiver define the base. Musk binds these darker elements and softens their intensity.

Pure Oudiction is primarily spicy, green, and woody. The fragrance thrives on herbs, hay, leather, and smoke, making it an unusual interpretation of oud. Those expecting a classically sweet or heavily vanilla-scented oud fragrance will consciously find something different here.

The green and dry side of Pure Oudiction finds an interesting parallel in Emerald Shine by The Fragrance. There, juniper, incense, leather, and dry woods provide a similarly unsweet character.

Those who wish to delve deeper into the suede and oud, however, should try Sillage by Kinetic. Raspberry and vanilla, however, make this fragrance significantly softer and sweeter. Under Oud remains the obvious alternative within The Gate for those who wish to experience oud, woods, and spices with more warmth. Further striking wood compositions can be found among the woody perfumes.

Return policy

The scope of delivery includes a 2 ml fragrance sample. Please use it to test the fragrance before opening the bottle. As long as the original packaging and seal remain unopened, you can return the item within 14 days. For hygienic reasons, opened bottles are excluded from return. You are responsible for organizing the return shipment by sending it to the address provided in our return policy. We do not provide a prepaid return label. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Further details can be found in the FAQ and in Section 8 of the General Terms and Conditions.
Shipping

We ship via Swiss Post within Switzerland and to Liechtenstein. For orders up to CHF 150.–, shipping costs are CHF 4.90. For orders of CHF 150.– and over, we offer free shipping. Your order will generally be delivered within one to three working days. As soon as your package leaves our facility, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email containing your Swiss Post tracking number.
